„Dark Paradise” tells a story of a spoiled and messed up Karmen (Rea Lest), whose safety net suddenly falls apart and she is forced to face the darkness and emptiness of the universe. More issues arise from her complicated relationship with her halfbrother Viktor (Jörgen Liik), whose inner world has been thrown upside down due to his beliefs and understandings of relationships with loved ones. This film shows the dark and hedonistic life of modern youth, filled with secrets of the past, toxic love affairs and underground world.

In addition to her brother, other men also play an important role in the girl’s life, who are a reflection of the young girl’s confused outer world.

One of the important characters is Rene, a middle-aged gentleman looking for novelty and bright emotions in his life, played by Juhan Ulfsak. The role of Tolik, a supportive friend and like-minded person, is played by Reimo Sagor. Tolik is a guy who never misses a good party.

Film is co-produced by Jeremy Forni and produced by Elina Litvinova. It is a Three Brothers’ production. The film is distributed by ACME Film. „Dark Paradise” will be in theatres September 22, 2023.
