In a small town with 2,000 people, of which more than half are over 60, everyone is living without hope or pride for the future. One day a young staff member at the agricultural cooperative suggests an idea of “Leaf Business”. The "Leaf Business" aims to make a profit from growing and selling wild plants that are used as garnish on Japanese dish. The idea is mocked by people, but three women decide to give it a try to make a difference in the lives of them and their lonesome town. Eventually, the “Leaf Business” grows into a 260 million yen business. The power of grannies gives courage and hope to the viewers!
