Every Wednesday at 11:30, Kino Artis becomes the holy heaven every parent (and parent to be) is looking for. A place to relax, to talk, to take a cup of coffee and to watch a film that doesn't feature either talking fishes, pink pigs saving the world or any type of cars with personality.
We haven't forgot that before becoming new parents, our customers had interests that went beyond diaper brands or the latest parenting techniques for potty training. Proving that it still IS possible to nurture intellectual needs while breastfeeding a small child, the film screenings of BABY CINEMA feature movies that are in regular rotation in our cinema but this time, in a child friendly atmosphere. While the small ones sleep in their prams, run around or play in the different areas provided for them, the parents and carers sit in a lightly lit theatre and watch the latest releases and art house films. All the basic needs are taken care of. Tiny loo for toddlers, changing table for babies, delicious treats for everyone and the non-judgmental atmosphere that takes away the stress of thinking a screaming child will upset someone.
In BABY CINEMA, we know how it's like and we embrace it!
NB! Please note that not all films in BABY CINEMA screen with English dialogues or have English subtitles.
The programming aims to adults, not children, although some family films are also programmed.
The screenings take place every Wednesday at 11:30.
The cafe opens at 11:00.
Tickets 4.20 €, babies up to 3 years included. Older children in case of family films 2.60 €.
Every ticket gives permission to reserve 2 seats.
