The documentary takes a look at the LGBT+ community in Armenia. In 2012 a bomb was thrown at the LGBT+ friendly bar in Yerevan, and participants of the diversity march were attacked thereafter. These events brought the extreme homophobia of the local community to a disturbing limelight. Ten Armenian LGBT+ people describe their experience of living, growing and discovering themselves in that country.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with Mamikon Hovsepyan, (PINK-Armenia, Yerevan, Armenia), Sergey Gabrielyan (Yerevan, Armenia) and Paata Sabelashvili (ECOM, Tallinn, Estonia / Tbilisi, Georgia). The discussion will be in English.

The event will be held in collaboration with Eurasian Coalition on Male Health - ECOM.

The Baltic Pride festival, which takes place on 6-9 July, stands for a free and inclusive society that is safe for everyone, regardless of one’s sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. All Baltic Pride events except for the parties are free of charge. However, we encourage cash donations to support LGBT+ advocacy in Estonia.

Film screening is free of charge. The entrance is in a lively order before the screening.
